About the Villa

Villa Del Olas is a private, luxury vacation home and retreat destination. It's "windcatcher" design allows the space to breathe with the ocean tropical air. The interior feels like a 'tropical Moroccan' home with its high ceilings, fans and arches. The architect, who spent many years living and studying in India, began his design from the origins of a temple and built the house to embody the energy and essence of the tropical ocean environment. Each level of the villa has sensational and uninterrupted panoramic ocean views.

• Roof-Top Sky Terrace
The Villa features a palm covered roof-top terrace, 1000 square feet, designed to host yoga or meditation classes. Although the Villa is the perfect yoga retreat oasis it is also well suited for use as an executive retreat and corporate training center away from the distractions of home and the office. • Sleeping Details
The large spacious villa provides shared accommodations for up to 13 persons or private rooms each with their own bathroom for 8. The master suite with king bed & spacious ensuite along with the separated sitting room can accommodate up to 3 persons using one single and the sofa bed. There are 2 ensuite bedrooms on the lower level each having a double bed which can sleep 3 persons per room with the addition of a day bed. The small “chapel” room with separate ensuite has a sofa bed for up to 2 persons. Rentals of the entire property (Villa and Casita) will sleep 15 in comfort.

About the Casita

The Casita, located below the main Villa right at the ocean's edge is complete with bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and dining area. The four post double bed is the perfect romantic retreat for two.

• Private Beach and Cliff Access
Stepping down five levels from the street to the beach cliffs, the property has it's own ocean staircase with direct access to a private beach below.  The headland to the west of Villa Del Olas has a paved path that winds its way from the private beach below the property and provides access to the Atami Club where for a small daily fee you can if you desire make use of the manicured grounds , large swimming pool and enjoy lunch and a drink in one of the many private cabanas provided.

• Jungle and Walking
The grounds within Atami provide a network of small access roads allowing guests the opportunity to stroll and explore the community and enjoy the natural forest that is home to an assortment of wildlife of which birds are the most prolific. For those who like a more challenging stroll there are many hills and valleys that these access roads wind over and dependent upon your chosen route will provide a good cardio workout all within the security of the Atami grounds.

• Salt Water Pools
The ocean rock pools at the western end of the headland and still within the privacy of the Atami grounds are a spectacular place to take a low tide refreshing dip in the ocean without the sand and waves. Many enjoyable hours can be spent exploring the many smaller tidal pools at low tide where crabs and fish are abundant. For the more adventurous a high tide dip in the ocean rock pools can be exhilarating as the ocean waves crash against the rocks below and flood the pools.
